Payment Policy
This page explains how payments work when you shop with Velsorie, a trading name of EKAURA LTD (company number 17046566), including when you are charged and how your payment details are kept secure.
Payment methods
The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. Availability can vary by delivery destination and device, and we only accept the methods displayed there.
Currency, pricing and tax
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT. Import duties and local taxes charged by a destination country outside the UK, which are the customer's responsibility (see our Shipping Policy). If you pay with a card issued outside the UK, your card issuer may apply its own currency conversion and fees, which are set by your bank, not by us.
When you are charged
Your payment method is authorised when you place your order, and you are charged when your order is processed. We don't store your full card details on our own systems.
Security
Payments are processed through Shopify's checkout and its payment providers, which are certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Payment details are encrypted in transit and handled directly by the payment provider. Velsorie never sees or stores your full card number, expiry date or security code.
Failed or declined payments
If a payment is declined or fails, your order won't be confirmed and nothing will be dispatched. This can happen because of insufficient funds, incorrect details or your bank's fraud checks. Please check your details and try again, or contact your card issuer. If you believe a payment failed in error, contact us.
Fraud prevention
Orders may be screened automatically by our payment providers before confirmation. Occasionally we or the provider may contact you to verify your identity or order details before dispatch.
Refunds
Approved refunds are made to the original payment method, within the time limits in our Returns & Refund Policy. After we issue a refund, it can take additional working days for your bank or provider to show the funds.
